Workplace well-being in all its forms, with respect to safety, health and hygiene in the workplace, ergonomics, environment and the beautification of work sites, as well as psychological and social elements, are a priority for Belgium Coatings S.A., in accordance with the Law of 4 August 1996, and is an integral part of good management.

We shall take the necessary measures to achieve the objectives outlined in our well-being policy. To do so, Belgium Coatings S.A. shall undertake to:

  • develop a culture of workplace well-being throughout the company;
  • ensure compliance with any legal obligations that are in effect;
  • support the commitments made by members and workers within the company with respect to well-being;
  • provide and use the appropriate resources, processes, infrastructure and equipment for the company;
  • ensure that all employees are duly informed about working methods, accident prevention and emergency procedures;
  • aim to continuously and sustainably improve outcomes with respect to well-being;
  • openly communicate about issues concerning the well-being policy;
  • promote environmental protections with a view to sustainable development.

We have previously had a relatively high frequency rate, due to the number of accidents within our company. As part of our improvement measures, we have set a goal that corresponds to a reduction in the sector’s frequency rate: 10%. Management expects staff to be active and creative collaborators when implementing this policy and in achieving this goal.

This policy shall apply to any activities carried out by the company.
